1316* new +ve tests (⇩12.5%)
19547 new tests reporting (⇩30%)

This is 6.7% positive percentage rate

* The increased number of new cases in the past few days may have been affected by backlog issues at UK Government laboratories over the weekend. The backlog has reduced but is also likely to have affected today’s figures. This explains what I have been commenting on for the last few days.

In total including repeat tests 1464 were +ve – a 7.5% rate

8826 newly tested individuals reported (⇩14%) – by far and away the most newly tested individuals I’ve seen, but bear in mind the backlog.

Local data:

    • Greater Glasgow and Clyde 421,
    • Lothian 216,
    • Lanarkshire 141,
    • Tayside 75,
    • Grampian 172,
    • Ayrshire and Arran 100,
    • Fife 81,
    • Forth Valley 40,
    • Three island boards 0

43 new reported deaths in those who have tested +ve (⇧43)

60 people in ITU with recently +ve test (⇧1)

1045 come through hospital with a recently positive test – through the 14 days prior to admission or having tested positive in hospital the last 28 days (⇩3%)

All the graphs are weird today and I’m going to refrain from commenting on them because hopefully the numbers will calm down over the next few days.
